Cameron Junction  Contributor's Pick!
Date approximate, building reads Cameron Junction. Livestock cars in the background read Rock Island. The depot was the CB&Q's however it was destroyed by a fire in the latter years a smaller depot was built by the BN which still stands as a depot/museum. In the early days Rock Island came from the south (Kansas City) and joined this track through the West side of Cameron & later split off having their own depot near the center of town. Cameron also used to have a turn table & round house.
